IMG_0868For more than a decade, Warren County Attorney Amy Hale Milliken has organized a student poster contest for the Bowling Green International Festival, modeled after her office’s Law Day contest.  Both public, private and home schooled children in grades K-12 are invited to participate.  This year the theme was 25 Years of Celebrating Diversity.

All posters are on display at the Warren County Courthouse.  Winners will be acknowledged and awarded trophies by the festival President, Dr. Angela Jones at the opening ceremony, 8:45 am on the Diversity stage September 27.

Putting on a large event like the Bowling Green International Festival can be a costly endeavor.  It takes many resources to secure the money, services and labor to organize and run any event. In order to keep our budget to a fraction of what events of a similar size cost we utilize volunteer labor and in-kind donations of products and services. Remaining expenses like equipment rental, insurance, artist fees and supplies are covered by the generosity of our sponsors, our small admission fee and sales at our merchandise booth. Please take the time to look at our list below of sponsors who make the event possible and consider supporting the businesses and organizations that support your community!

A very special THANK YOU to our 2014 Sponsors!
